ICly, Rankings will show the points earned of all Pokemon in guilds, including NPC Pokemon not listed here OOCly. We didn't list guild leaders this time, but might in the future for fun. Keep in mind that quests available to player characters are not the entire pool of quests, and that some are likely snatched up before they can get to them regularly, which is how points vary and how some guilds pull ahead even without much player help. IMPORTANT UPDATES

After months of hints and teasing, the team is happy to announce that Evolution is finally available in game!

Evolution will be available as a small size reward, with a special additional requirement: rather than appearing in a dream as most rewards do, Evolution must be connected to a significant moment in game. Please read the updated Rewards page for more detail!

Please also note that in-character, Evolution will not begin occurring until the events of this month's TDM. However, you may submit for it starting today!

Related: as sharp-eyed players may or may not have already noticed, we've updated wording on the Rewards page in a few spots for clarity.

As players may similarly have noticed, after some discussion we've decided to unscreen acceptance comments so that people are able to read NPC interactions (without, for example, needing to have each other added on Plurk). Applications will always stay screened!

Weepy but doing his best, Emporio is a kid who came from a very un-kid-friendly background, growing up hiding in an adult prison alone most of his life. Despite this he's visibly the more well-adjusted and intelligent addition to the cast, whoops!

Here in Bottlecap, he's feeling like he's here to stay- the town likes him, and he does his best to help out everywhere he can, and also he can see the sun which is a pretty huge positive in any situation. Also he's designing a house. Nice!

More than likely I'll be sitting on thatttt until a Heavy month (and excuse me as I lament how perfect this would have been JUST A WEEK AGO!!!), but in the meantime he's available for small quests again! Kinda. Technically he won't be available until later in the month, on account of having to recover from the horrible beatdown he suffered at the hands of Glimmora. WHOOPS.

Starfall will be fun and he'll also get to admit that his birthday passed. Dwbi dwbi.

(Oh and also he's gonna be super sad bc...a Number of people he liked just either vanished into the ether wilderness, or entered a coma so. OOUGH.)

Narciso Anasui is sure a character. He's a prison inmate, arrested for mutilating his cheating-ex and the guy she was cheating with. He's got OCD and deconstructs everything he can get his hands on when he's stressed out. He even is gender fluid and uses his powers to manipulate his appearance on a whim (and incredibly irritable that he can't do it here). And yet despite his many, many, many flaws, Anasui is a geniunely good person who will sacrifice everything if it's a cause he believes in. While initially rude and standoffish, he'll never turn down help and is quite reliable in many regards. He is trying to be a better person, after all.

PLANS:

I am hoping things ease up in the next few days. Asides from backtags, I hope to hit the clinic mingle because "ya'll need to stop fucking near-dying when you go on missions. it gives me more work" - said Anasui the volunteer.

I'm open to handwave or play out any/all quests. Hit me up!

In terms of partying, Anasui has no interest BUT considering it is a wishing festival, he'll be wishing for the girl he's obsessed with, Jolyne, to appear. And because he's a bit of a big baby, when she doesn't appear, he'll be dismantling wish stands because fuck ya'll.

local girl from space who's been grounded for... six months. oh boy. parvati does good around the bay, having a reputation for being a rather enterprising tinkaton. she likes working her socks off on all sorts of ongoing projects around the bay, but has lately taken to more relaxed endeavours like pottery and looking after succulents in her spare time. she's putting her skills as a spaceship engineer to good use while learning new ones, and yearning for her girlfriend who is never showing up. fun times!

i know i say i want to take it slow around college but knowing my adhd-having ass i'm going to somehow balance rp and college and you should applaud. or don't. idc. that being said to ease my burden i think i want to focus on, like, lighter stuff? fluffier stuff. that sort of thing. not pure fluff but after two months of high tension and angst this breather for the festival is going to be nice. mods have mercy on me. as always parvati is down to do all of the quests. bits and bobs would easily be a one woman job if she was allowed to, but to any particularly lazy characters desperate to get points in, she's probably more than fine with carrying the team. that's her happy place, doubly so now that her tinkaton instincts have her interested in even more tinkering than usual (think blacksmithing). all of the other quests are good for me but if anyone is more alive this month and wants to do cr for the sake of it pleeeeasssee humour me.

the not-so-little mermaid strikes again. formerly the daughter and messiah of the rapture family, eleanor awoke in the bay after her escape from the desolate city. now she's a little seal finding her own feet and finally beginning to come into her own. she's still a sad and angsty teenager, but having friends all around her is setting her off in the right direction. she's come into her own as a member of the guild, but less so standing on her own. it'll come to her, she's just learning to truly be an individual for the first time.

Firoza is my Warrior of Light from the critically acclaimed MMORPG etc etc, you know the meme. She's just finished up her cool summer vacation adventure in Dawntrail, so we're kind of on a renewing, healing sort of energy with our travels here. She's used to being a Paladin, aka a tank with some serious defensive capabilities...but I'm happy to say she's mostly adjusted to her new form and its limitations/abilities. Still works very hard not to poison anyone on accident, or push too hard in spars with her fellows (though she can absolutely get carried away if you push certain buttons). Her hobbies include weaving/sewing, enjoying some excellent bread, learning about new sword things, and helping people whosoever they might be. Even if they need you to collect or transport poop.

Final Fantasy XIV sure is a game.

Otherwise - hey, someone's going to move up to Cheri Berry mid tier housing! You'll still see Firoza checking in on the lower tier housing folks and helping reinforce their quarters against weather events, but she's going to slowly dedicate a good portion of her own space to clothcraft projects and making/storing materials.

For quests, I'd be happy to jump in to do LEAF IT TO US! and BOULDER-WISE, if anyone feels like doing some guarding and resource gathering. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to whatever the event brings us this month for Evolution!!!!

Neige is a young man who lives in the world of Twisted Wonderland--where the villains from the Disney universe are rewritten as heroes and many of the iconic stories are part of their history. He, himself, is the canon's representation of Snow White, and studies magic at Royal Sword Academy, which acts as the rival school to the one that the main characters of the series attend. He's an extremely popular idol known for his acting and modeling career, and is also a talented singer and dancer. Just generally a very nice young man, he's extremely hardworking and incredibly trusting--despite once living as an orphan in difficult conditions, he has a hugely positive outlook on life. No matter how big of a villain someone might seem, Neige is sure there's good in them!

I had a bit of a late start last month so I'm still finding my footing--none of the quests really felt like they were a good fit for Neige, so I would really love to get him involved in these light ones this month! Everything except for Leaf It to Us I think would work--he's very eager to lend a helping hand as best as he can with his tiny little bird body. Aside from that, I'm going to try and poke around on open posts! Pretty much, any and all CR is welcome as I continue to orient myself to playing a new character in a new game.

Recovering from the post dreamshare event where folks got to visit the museum and being the one teammate that wasn't bashed up big time during the Heavy Quest, Dolly is definitely having a moment of sorts as well as a healthy dose of survivor's guilt. So you'll likely be seeing Dolly doing a lot of things around the Clinic or drowning herself in crafts or preparations for the Starfall Festival.

ABOUT:

Kinger was originally a human, a long time ago, but for the last unknown amount of time (implied to be decades) he has been trapped in the digital avatar of a chess piece inside of a digital realm from which there is no escape. Which is why it took him a while to accept that he had, in fact, escaped into a different fantasy realm. Kinger has incredibly poor memory and focus, only being able to gather his thoughts when he's in the dark. He's also very sad about his wife.

PLANS:

I've got three threads I need to wrap up from last month, plus threading a quest with Noelle. Probably close to being able to wrap up with Maya and Kaiba, but I definitely want to build that Firoza CR.

As for this month, I definitely want Kinger on Leaf It To Us and Bits And Bobs, and I'm also open to Broken Up and any player quests that might open up. Kinger is only one step above the newbies after six months, he needs to play catch-up. As far as non-quest things: the increased Ultra Beast presence after a Valentine's Day where he was thinking about his wife is going to have him thinking a lot about what the connection could be between the UBs and the comas, and if something is happening here that is analagous to Abstraction.
