MEMBER & GUILD RANKING

New quests are released! Sign-ups will open officially on the 3rd of this month, so until then, here's a plotting post for you all to get your Duckletts in a row! Before we hop right into things, though, here are the tallies from total quest points!

MEMBER RANKING
ICly, Rankings will show the points earned of all Pokemon in guilds, including NPC Pokemon not listed here OOCly. We didn't list guild leaders this time, but might in the future for fun. Keep in mind that quests available to player characters are not the entire pool of quests, and that some are likely snatched up before they can get to them regularly, which is how points vary and how some guilds pull ahead even without much player help. However, over time, player points will certainly affect the standing of guilds! Without further ado, here are the characters in ranking order by guild:

Oran Berries
Goro 850 points
Shoka 600 points
A.B.A 550 points
Ren 550 points
Ingo 400 points
Dark Heart 250 points
Emmet 250 points
Doc 200 points
Conrad 150 points
Akari 0 points

Cheri Berries
Firepaw 450 points
Junpei 250 points
Firoza 200 points
Laios 50 points
Siffrin 50 points
Guilmon 0 points

Lum Berries
Emporio 400 points
Courier Six 150 points
Ring-Spirit 100 points
Narciso 50 points

GUILD RANKING
And of course, posted everywhere is the guild ranking.

1. Lum Berries
2. Oran Berries
3. Cheri Berries

AVAILABLE QUESTS

This is a HEAVY QUEST month, meaning there are quests in the mix that are classified as "heavy!" What does this mean? More chance for plot, and more risk of consequence! Characters can try each quest more than once as long as no claim limit is listed, but will only receive points for any given quest once. However, consequences can occur within these dangerous listed quests. Due to potential for consequence or harm, we recommend waiting for results of one exploration-titled quest before submitting for another.

Previously, three teams went out into the forest to explore the northern, middle, and southernmost parts of the forest. Their efforts have expanded Bottlecap Bay's information on the forest in general, and altered certain parts of the forest itself. With that in mind, here's some information about each of the areas for you to use for your threads, to keep in mind while signing up, and to use for knowing what sort of angle you want to use to tackle these.

THE FOREST
A vast, disorienting expanse where natural laws seem to fray. Dense canopies block sunlight across all regions, making navigation difficult. The further you travel into the forest, the more you begin to experience the unique dangers that each subsection holds.

Northern Forest
Overgrown with aggressive plant life, many of which react violently to disturbances. Large vines creep across the forest floor and wrap around perceived threats, and whole trees seem to move when not watched. Any sort of dangerous, mysterious plantlife seems to be found here. One notable species is a strange mushroom that release spores which induce aggression. While the team that explored this area did successfully destroy mushrooms and send them away with wind-related attacks, the result is less than ideal; strange mushrooms have spread further than before and are quickly taking over this portion of the forest. Dr. Denne has developed a medication to counteract their effects, and has also put out a quest simultaneously to combat this sudden growth.

Middle Forest
A fog-laden stretch filled with steep declines and hidden pits. The mist clings to Pokemon, curving around them like a living being. The forest floor is incredibly unpredictable, and because of that, not much mapping seems to have been recorded even with the previous group's travel, but plenty of information has been collected on the reactions to the fog itself. Familiar figures might attempt to coax Pokemon apart from one another, or trick you further into the forest. Hallucinations grip at the mind with a depth that can put heavy mental strain on anyone who enters. Teamwork and trust is a must, here.

Southern Forest
The most treacherous in terms of navigation. Landmarks and markers shift unpredictably, and the ones left behind by the previous team are scattered about in strange, new locations. Even weirder, some of them look aged beyond comprehension. The fog exists here, but it's far less thick than in the center of the forest, even if just as disorienting. Hallucinations aren't the worry here, though: Ghost Pokemon thrive here, imitating teammates or other wild Pokemon and causing confusion. They might separate teammates, cause collapses on purpose, or cause Pokemon to turn on one another. Worst of all, parts of the forest floor have already collapsed into a system of unstable, old caves. These caves may collapse even further, leaving Pokemon stranded, separated, or struggling to free themselves.

Come on weird cat with nothing wrong, you're becoming a companion of Courier Six who also clearly has nothing wrong. (Who is also heavily Mentally Ill!)

i also opt into everything >:3c With how I play Perrin and Fourth Walling, he does make jokes about general Fallout and RPG tropes, I play it similar to Fallout 2 but toned down. So it's not like he'll know others are on the fourth wall, but he does crack jokes about his perks and the such sometimes.

tldr the sillies externally. the traumas internally.

/furious handshaking They are both just So Extremely Normal. The most normal ones here.

Clearly they should go on a quest together, absolutely nothing could possibly go wrong!!

RPG jokes and references to perks are absolutely a-okay! Siffrin actually has pretty similar canon things and will probably be unphased, I mostly just didn't want people to outright go "oh hey you're a video game character and I played your game" at them. I should probably... go mess with my permissions to make that more clear. Goes to do that.

Yes, totally! They're even both missing the same eye/have the same eye messed up! Clearly this is fine and meant to be. :B (Do not mind the other scars the Dragonite has. He is a responsible adult.) (its not like my main verse for him where i go nuts with implications even if its not dwrp friendly is a timeloop verse hehe) (And even without that, the idea of letting go, accepting the past, and starting again with what you've learned is a big theme in Fallout New Vegas and even if he's post-story Perrin still struggles with it--)

They should! I've got my plate full for a heavy quest, but I'm willing to have Perrin go on any of the Light ones!

also yes good, I just had to make sure! They get it, different RPG systems, levels are weird, its not like they're fictional or anything, who would think that. (Also fun fact: one of my long-term goals for Perrin is for Perrin to realise he can use they/them pronouns, he doesn't need to be a guy if he's not a girl.)

/fingerguns!! Lemme see what mushroom-related quest Sif is going to end up going on with Firoza, and then I'd probably like to do the opposite one with Perrin! Mushroom variety.

(Loop can help with that! Maybe. If they're not being too much of a mess.)

(Actually... characters in ISAT do tend to introduce themselves with pronouns. For DWRP I usually say that Siffrin is taking cues on what a "normal introduction" is from people around them and skip that bit, but if you'd like I can pull it out for Perrin to introduce the topic!)
