ICly, Rankings will show the points earned of all Pokemon in guilds, including NPC Pokemon not listed here OOCly. We didn't list guild leaders this time, but might in the future for fun. Keep in mind that quests available to player characters are not the entire pool of quests, and that some are likely snatched up before they can get to them regularly, which is how points vary and how some guilds pull ahead even without much player help. As promised, we’ve tallied the IC Vote on our new Location Names. The Locations Page will be updated with these names after further exploration has been made to better understand these regions, but until then Pokemon have been invited to spread awareness of the following locations - both old and new. Note: For locations where no suggested names were offered, the Mods have created new names themselves!

SPECTRUNK FOREST - Name suggested by Narciso Anasui. Due to their nature to blend together once inside, this is the collective name for the woods containing the following:

⟡ The Sporest’s Troop - Commonly referred to as the ‘North Forest’, situated against the Canopy toward the middle crescent of Bottlecap Bay.
⟡ The Gravebone Woods - Commonly referred to as the ‘Middle Forest’, situated along the south crescent of Bottlecap Bay to the ‘North’s immediate west side.
⟡ The Hallowed Cemetree - Commonly referred to as the ‘South Forest’, situated at the farthest forested end of Bottlecap Bay’s crescent, west of the ‘Middle’.

CROWNCORK VALLEY - Name repurposed from Firoza’s submission. All three portions of Spectrunk Forest exit into this large plain, now known as Crowncork Valley. By popular vote, the Outpost constructed there is henceforth known as Death Blood Murder Skull Town, courtesy of our very own Flowey! While it seems Mightyena eagerly prepared the full name for use, with Polteageist reportedly agreeing in amusement, Ribombee has insisted on shortening this name to ‘something manageable’ for the maps. It will therefore be listed more often as ‘Skull Town’. (Other characters may spot Flowey doing an evil laugh, when he realizes that his suggestion got picked.)

There are now three regions accessed from this Outpost, known by the following names:

⟡ Furnace Mountain - Name suggested by Flamebringer. Located toward the forest’s exit, in a ‘northern’ direction. Revealed to be a shield volcano.
⟡ Heavy Downmoor - Name suggested by Siffrin. Located south-east from the Furnace Mountain, as the ‘middle’ option. Revealed to contain a mountainous flood basin.
⟡ Icefall Lake - Name suggested by Narciso Anasui. Located due south from the forest’s exit and the outpost itself. Revealed to be a mountain sheltered frozen lake.

Saddest lad of all, but he's hiding it well these days! Partly because he's not just sad anymore. Emporio has settled in marevllously in Bottlecap Bay, picking up 'being a Pokemon' like a Ducklett to water! He often does small shifts at the clinic, as he's been occasionally studying under Dedenne, but he also does lots of reading in the Archives- and a lot of quests too. That said, he does know how to relax! ...Even if reading counts as that for him.

PLANS:

IT'S MOVING DAY APPARENTLY ! As usual I'm gonna be excitedly anticipating the TDM (though sadly, to anyone waiting on Dollman, I think I'm gonna have to stick to one muse for Bottlecap for a bit...)- but in addition to that, I'll probably make a post in a few days featuring moving day! Emporio doesn't have a WHOLE lot of use for mid-tier housing, but with Anasui insisting on sharing space, it is to his benefit to go for the next rung up.

Plus, it helps give him an idea of what to think about for the day he eventually really gets his own house.

Beyond that, I'd love to join someone on a rescue quest, and DEFINITELY for a scholars quest! Really, he'll probably be doing everything again, but those are the two that I'd want to make threads for.

ABOUT:

A.B.A is a homunculus whose creator got kidnapped by the military before she had a chance to wake up. Left alone, locked up in his mansion, A.B.A spent the first ten years of her life in solitude. As you can imagine, this has made her socially awkward and very fearful. To counteract this, A.B.A acts authoritative and belligerent to give off the impression that she knows what she's doing, but thankfully she's not as aggressive as she usually is thanks to Pokémon being so small and cute. A.B.A's isolation has given her an intense fascination with keys, as she sees them as symbols of freedom and tools to expand one's world. A.B.A loves keys so much that she's fallen obsessively in love with a demon axe who resembles one, and she affectionately named him after her creator, Paracelsus. She's also recently become obsessed with the color blue, specifically the blue of the sea.

Despite the horrors, A.B.A is thriving as a Pokémon. She misses her husband severely, but she has so many friends now. She isn't really...used to it, but she's hoping to take the lessons she learns here and apply them back home when she eventually reunites with Paracelsus. Which is a thing she's absolutely convinced that'll happen.

This month I'll be moving, so I might be slow! With that in mind, I am open to every and all handwaved opportunities, and then maybe thread out something nice and easy. That said, I love tdm months so it's likely I'll be all over that anyway lol. Who needs to pack when I can inflect confused newbies with an angry homunculus?!

Our favorite gay bipolar bitch, Courier Six - Perrin - is still in the middle of a crash. But he's beginning to finally open up a little more again, beginning to try and make some allies. He still has misgivings about a lot of things, and he finds himself keeping it to himself a lot, but. He's slowly climbing out of the crash! Let's just hope his mania isn't... too much. He's the sort to watch the others and just find his part. He's also opening up the tiniest bit.

He's also nursing slight injuries from last month, alongside. The Thoughts.

I do hope to touch base with other Lum Berries, because Courier Six is having that feeling he's isolated from them - and he wonders if it's his fault, or just how things are. he's seen all that power of friendship and comradery a lot of other guildmates have with their guildmates and won't admit he's jealous, but...! I'd also like to claim Toedally Missing - I feel that Courier Six is spending a lot of time working on the Outpost, feeling more in his element. He'll also be up for joining in Scholastic Decisions to learn more about what is around, alongside No Pain, No Grain. I think one thing which will be visible from him is that he is concerned about the Houndour and other Pokemon from outside growing aggressive, and others who may see this as their territory. For are they taking it from them?

But mostly, I'm looking forward to the TDM.

ABOUT:

Welcome to protagonist town, on your left we have Ren Amamiya, dumb idiot who keeps all his problems to himself while breaking his back to help others... oops! He's the (former) leader of the Phantom Thieves, a vigilante group who stood up to those who couldn't (or wouldn't) be punished by the regular justice system. He's got a very strong moral compass that may err a little on the grey side. He also probably doesn't worry enough about his own health, as stated above. He can appear very nice and respectful to authority... but at the same time, his morals won't let him just stand by and watch if he feels there is something going wrong, or authority being abused.

Also, he's rather reckless, when it comes down to it. Showy, sarcastic and reckless. He blends into the background as easily as he comes to the foreground when he wants it. All in all, he can wear many masks, and adjust himself/his behavior depending on who he's talking to, and what he wants.

PLANS:

Having mostly recovered from his coma, Ren is ready to rumble once again! With the okay from Dr. Denne, Ren is once again allowed to do more heavy missions, and boy is he excited about it. Sure, everyone's probably still keeping an eye on him to make sure he doesn't overdo it... but he's eager to help out.

He's definitely interested in Toadally Missing. A somewhat more difficult quest near the outpost should be a good warmup. He's also interested in Scholastic Decisions. Ren hasn't had much of a chance to explore beyond the outpost, and playing bodyguard to the scholars exploring the nearby area seems like a good way to see the sights... though it might be a bit more boring than he's imagining.

Finally, he's also interested in Shielding Questions and A Dour Struggle. For the latter, while he is a grass type, he's also fully aware that his Protean ability would easily provide him with a resistance to dark.

Mostly, he's just ready to DO STUFF again! Albeit with more limits than he's used to...

ABOUT:

Do you like traumatized teenagers who make poor life choices? Then do I have news for you!

Goro Akechi suffered an awful life due to societal stigmas against illegitimate children and the children of sex workers, made worse by his mother's death and years cycling through orphanages and neglectful foster homes. Eventually he awakened a power he barely understood and, jaded by a life of pain, decided to hatch a stupid revenge plan against his father that led to him effectively being a child assassin masquerading as a prettyboy detective. Fun!

Akechi has since dropped his "detective prince" mask and is now a very jaded, aloof, and serious person who is still fiercely determined to prove himself, uncover the mysteries of this world.

Now that Ren's awake again, he's in higher spirits, but is still somewhat on edge due to the other coma patients (e.g. Firepaw). Additionally, he's still trying to make sense of all these weather-based anomalies and mysteries. The trip to Furnace Mountain was especially enlightening to him. I may have him do a network post to discuss everything and try to draw conclusions among the other exploration groups.

PLANS:

QUESTS! I'd like for him to take on Scholastic Decisions for sure, as that's right up his alley. Additionally, he'll definitely wanna do one of the limiteed quests. Toedally Missing or As a Corsol-ing River are probably the safest bets, as ice and birds do not go together.

Additionally, I am absolutely open to Shielding Questions, A Dour Struggle, and No Pain No Grain.

Say, for the sake of argument, that someone wanted to start a garden at the outpost for winter vegetables (broccoli, kale, cabbage--a lot of brassicas do well as long as they get some sun during the winter). Ume could even use Life Dew to see if it'd help with growing the plonts.

A perpetually cheerful youkai doctor and veterinarian, who does his absolute best to be as kind and helpful to others as possible! He already owned multiple hospitals back in his own world, and now he spends most of his time supporting the clinic.

But while he genuinely means well, Akira severely lacks any empathy or understanding of what's wrong or right. On top of that, he can lose control when he's too excited, willing to do whatever it takes to sate his desire for knowledge. His best friend gave him a few rules to follow that have worked as a moral compass so far, so he just has to learn how to apply them to living as a Pokemon too.

PLANS:

I can see the most IC interest in Scholastic Decisions for the obvious chance of learning and A Dour Struggle for the Water > Fire type advantage, but the reality is Akira will happily go along with anything!

He'll be looking to help out in the new clinic during any downtime, and being a light month, I'd love to use this time to catch up on any follow-up interactions from August's quests etc too. Come at me with whatever!

Hey, chat! It's ya boy, Umemiya, teenage gang leader and vegetable fiend, turned into a Fighting/Steel type menace. Umemiya is settling into the Bay and starting to think about things more deeply. Like meat and vegetables and territory and quests. He had a good time meeting and training with folks, and now he's up for some easier quests to knock out. What do you get when you take a red dinosaur but give him the mind of a naive and playful child? Guilmon! He's a very cheerful, curious, and silly fella who loves playing, eating absurd amounts of bread, and making friends. He's very determined when he wants to be and can be really fierce in battle.

The rest of the time, he's baby.

PLANS:

Guilmon is not a scholar, but he can protect people, so he's still down for Scholastic Decisions! Additionally, I think he'd be well suited to Bea-Very Chilled, as he's familiar with the area and he's a fire type. At least this time, he knows what to expect!

I'm also down to offer him for Shielding Questions, No Pain No Grain, and A Dour Struggle. He's just a helpful lil' dude!

Firoza is my Warrior of Light from the critically acclaimed MMORPG etc etc, you know the meme. She's just finished up her cool summer vacation adventure in Dawntrail, so we're kind of on a renewing, healing sort of energy with our travels here. She's used to being a Paladin, aka a tank with some serious defensive capabilities...but I'm happy to say she's mostly adjusted to her new form and its limitations/abilities. Still works very hard not to poison anyone on accident, or push too hard in spars with her fellows (though she can absolutely get carried away if you push certain buttons). Her hobbies include weaving/sewing, enjoying some excellent bread, learning about new sword things, and helping people whosoever they might be. Even if they need you to collect or transport poop.

Final Fantasy XIV sure is a game.

She did a big explore helping with the latest expedition last month and will find herself in Crowncork Valley (HOLY SHIT THEY LIKED HER NAME???) as quests or friends might need, but I think she'll most likely be wheresoever new arrivals might be showing up this month.

PLANS:

Firoza will be working hard on those satchels she keeps wanting to make as well as sourcing new materials to make fabric from on her own, or with assistance. We're coming up on autumn, and winter will be right on its heels - and y'all need cloaks and hats! And those are easy, those she can make. ;3

BUT ALSO HEY, QUESTS? I'd love to do NO PAIN NO GRAIN because provisions for the outpost are very important to make sure we have, and A DOUR STRUGGLE might be fun if anyone wants to do some battle content...BEA-VERY CHILLED would also be a great one, since she went on one of the expeditions to the area...I promise she'll be properly bundled up this time asdfghjkl
