New quests are released! Sign-ups will open officially on the 3rd of this month, so until then, here's a plotting post for you all to get your Duckletts in a row! Before we hop right into things, though, here are the tallies from total quest points!

ICly, Rankings will show the points earned of all Pokemon in guilds, including NPC Pokemon not listed here OOCly. We didn't list guild leaders this time, but might in the future for fun. Keep in mind that quests available to player characters are not the entire pool of quests, and that some are likely snatched up before they can get to them regularly, which is how points vary and how some guilds pull ahead even without much player help. However, over time, player points will certainly affect the standing of guilds! Without further ado, here are the characters in ranking order by guild:

Heliolisk is in charge of a project for the city streets further towards the forest. This is a pressing issue, as the roads have in fact diminished somehow in length. I need reliable Pokemon who can help clear roads, flatten the dirt, and place cobblestone.

[He would] have the stats that would normally make up a strong, well-rounded leader. However, his social skills are so lacking that it basically negates his other strengths... Which is to say, this boy ain't right! He has no social graces, is a little too stoked to be here, and tends to unnerve most people even back home. He is now a monster-obsessed-turned-Pokémon-fanatic, and he will be excited to try all the food Bottlecap Bay has to offer. Yes, that means everything. Wait, hold on, please don't go yet—

Laios has always struggled to fit in, but despite his experiences (or more likely because of them), he's far more kind and accepting than most would give him credit for. He may not know how to show it correctly, but he genuinely means well, and holds every friendship he does manage to make very close to his heart. Even as a dungeon party leader, he's both resourceful with his knowledge and mindful of his teammates' capabilities, especially when it comes to their well-being. Taking care of yourself is not a joke! He will not be tolerating everyone going gung-hu nonstop around here!

Also. He has an impressive dog impersonation. He's very excited to show it off as an actual dog. Why wouldn't you want to be his friend because he's still an absolute weirdo, that's why.

PLANS:

I HAVE TO LAUGH at Laios being DEAD LAST in the rankings cause he truly does not GAF!! sobs he was just too busy sniffing around everywhere but the forest and you know he got an earful from Ribombee for it. Enough doggy playtime; it's time to get serious and pull his weight. So, heavy emphasis on questing this month. Will be tossing him everywhere and anywhere so if you need a guard dog and/or sight hound in your group, he's your guy!

Also, he may not have known A.B.A as well as others, but he will be pretty upset at what happened to her :(( Who will he go Klefki-searching with now... Expect him to be pretty torn about it. Another reason for him to be more serious this time around...

Emphasis on questing you say-

Emporio will be doing ALL THE QUESTS (save rescues), so I am happy to team up with Laios...somewhere!

A lot of us seem to be in the same boat and are awkwardly muddling around. So far my only Concrete Ones seem to be that Paved Roads with Anasui is happening, Weasels with Ring Spirit, and Wood with Emmet...maybe? Maybe wood with Emmet.

Suffice to say, all of the quests are open to a borzolthund joining along-

Laios unfortunately cannot keep neglecting his quest log to chase birds all month.....

The borzolthund is ready for any of those!! Leaning towards Paved Roads (the Anasui-Laios wombo combo is still too powerful) or Wood (because Strong Jaw should activate on literal trees right), but super flexible depending on what others may want to join in on C:

Also side quest idea: locate ball, Emporio throw ball, Laios catch ball, ball is life

I've got RS and Conrad's players onboard and have hit up one other person that's currently pending a response, but Iiiii technically think there's no upper cap on what the party size can be on that quest? LAIOS LET'S GO GATHER WOOD Firoza knows where to find some good bark for things other than making chew toys out of. Also they're felling trees I guess? Can either of these two chop a tree down. Probably not. BUT WOOD IS WOOD! We can collect the sticks that have fallen, sticks are good too, sometimes they're very sturdy.

Also Firoza doesn't gaf about Rankings either she's just happy to help, literally that's just a number (says the woman at the top of the Cheri Berries irt the outsiders), if she was at a canon point to know about Cosmic Exploration she'd be all over that shit

Firepaw's not gonna be very good at any of the quests this month, but he definitely wants to spend more time with Laios. And he'll definitely go Klefki-hunting with Laios to cheer him up, even though he doesn't know what a key is anyway--

The only one he's straight up not gonna do is Scattered Bug (he's done being in the Northern Forest for a bit) but maybe they can go resource-collecting together.

But seriously Laios is going to be checking in on Firepaw just as much because there's a lot to process this month ;^; Let him ramble about what mimics and keys are as a distraction for a bit! Or maybe offer himself as a sparring buddy! He may still be learning hunting, but he's got experience to share with fighting.

Right now I think Clay Clamber is most up in the air for Laios (more water though...it's rough out here for fire-types), but I'm so open to double dip if there's any others you'd prefer Firepaw on!

Absolutely! Firepaw LOVES sparring, and learning about other worlds even though he really struggles with understanding them. Like, his whole world back home was a small public park in rural England, and now he knows how big the planet is, which is cosmically terrifying.

I'm down for them collecting clay, or wood! (Or both!) It looks like there's a LOT of people working on paving the roads so we don't have to worry about that lol. I have no preference, feel free to sign them up for whatever :>

Ingo really likes talking to Laios! It's fun to just go on and on about Pokemon, and he hasn't had anyone to do that with for a long time! Probably this is Emmet's secret role but shhhh don't worry about it. They should do something together!

Would love to toss them into something together either some questing or even just some training fun times.
