ICly, Rankings will show the points earned of all Pokemon in guilds, including NPC Pokemon not listed here OOCly. We didn't list guild leaders this time, but might in the future for fun. Keep in mind that quests available to player characters are not the entire pool of quests, and that some are likely snatched up before they can get to them regularly, which is how points vary and how some guilds pull ahead even without much player help. However, over time, player points will certainly affect the standing of guilds! Without further ado, here are the characters in ranking order by guild:

Calling all available Pokemon capable of rescue! Team Watchlight of the Cheri Berries Guild has yet to return from their mission. According to their most recent mission report to Pellipper, they were located within the Heavy Downmoor region - more specifically, the flood basin.

Please, if you can bring anyone back, the guild will be forever grateful! You will know them by the reflective bands each member wears.

Now that we're keeping track of who's in the city, I've realized that I haven't seen Furfrou in a while... Does anyone know where they might have gone? It might take some investigating, but I'll give you a cool rock for it!

As winter fast approaches, it is vital we properly supply ourselves. Right now, we're in need of shed fur and wool to create blankets and garments. Accepting anyone and everyone who can help gather and transport some.

As proof of solidarity with our allies, it is important to help defend the territories of the Forest from those who mean harm. In particular, Arctibax have been spotted harassing local Ghost Pokemon - remind them that they have their own place to call home!

MAYORAL VOTE RESULTS!

On a makeshift stage, as her last activity during this trip to Skull Town, Mightyena counts out the votes collected from all the poll boxes - gently discarding invalid votes to the side. (A Pelipper from the post office reviews that pile, making sure she didn’t make a mistake.)

The other end of the stage holds all five candidates - though Grimpig seems distracted, busily chattering away over telepathy. There’s an increasingly apprehensive silence from Umbreon in particular as the tally starts racking up more and more in his favor, and the pile of votes grows small… and then Malamar exclaims and points. There’s a Swalot near the pile with a suspiciously full-looking mouth!

Swalot is quickly bullied into using Spit Up, revealing a slimy bundle of additional votes. Mightyena dutifully calls these out as well, though she’s hiding a grimace at the clammy texture. By the time she reaches the bottom, though the vote is respectably close, there’s still a clear victor!

As promised, we’ve tallied the IC Vote on our new Mayor for (Death Blood Murder) Skull Town. With that in mind, we’d like to give a hearty congratulations to Cheri Berry Guild’s Lurantis!

Lurantis replaces Mightyena to make a very short, if still gracious, speech - though she’s outwardly calm, perhaps she doesn’t enjoy speaking to crowds? She thanks those who voted for her and promises again to focus first on preparing Skull Town for the encroaching winter, and on relations with the local Pokemon. Then she steps delicately down off the stage and into the crowd to make herself available to talk to.

As it turns out, she’s built up enough popularity that the crowd is packed tight! No Pokemon originating from other worlds will get a chance to speak with her directly before she eventually has to leave, but she’ll be available again in the near future. Just give her a couple of weeks to get settled into her new duties and organize the most urgent tasks and assignments!


INCOMING EVENTS

Winter appears to be arriving a little too quick for everyone’s liking this year, as once the middle of the month arrives so too will snow - and a lot of it! Get ready to see what Pokemon do during a Snow Day as we greet potential new players this month, as we begin to see snow forts, snow wars, and…snow beasts?

Hopefully whatever is coming isn’t any worse than Froslass.

The other of those two inexplicably popular guys who keep getting mentioned in unrelated games in the series all the time an ex-modern New York subway boss and current Meiji-era Hisui Warden, who is essentially a solo park ranger in the middle of nowhere! He's also trying to introduce Pokemon training to the region, because he is originally from the Pokemon world!

He spends a great deal of time training with new arrivals or others who might want to get stronger, and also going out on the harder rescue quests! The ones that don't involve water, anyway. He's also pretty typically tied at the hip with his twin brother Emmet, whom he recently rediscovered. They live together in a separate room of the Oran housing. There's been some drama between them lately so Ingo may be slightly more moody and off on his own, but it's not like they've fallen out or anything.

PLANS:

Open to do Woolly Business with whoever, though his fur is short enough that it's not the best, so he'll mostly be working with those who already have it! Also open to Bax to Arctibax with whoever! Otherwise, he's going to largely be dealing with his own personal stuff, which is being exacerbated by his anxiety over the coming winter (he lives in the woods). Also maybe Parvati's player quest, he can deal with Corviknight and a trinket could be fun!

HELLO would Ingo be open to doing Bax to Arctibax with Shoka? i think their typing is just so perfectly matched for this one (two Ghost-types whose secondary types are resistant to Ice and Dragon)

Shoka is also largely just dealing with her own personal stuff, trying to play it off like everything's fine and she isn't extremely stressed out...but she'll likely snap a lil bit when given the excuse to beat up dragons about it. could perhaps be a good excuse for them to talk a little about their anxieties afterward if you'd like some CR-building (but also good with just handwaving if you'd prefer!)

Anasui is down for WOOLLY ACTIVITY with Ingo like i'm down for building CR. They're probably gonna playing door to door collectors and dragging other peoples' fur to wherever it needs to go since Anasui doesnt have fur either.

Narciso quite likes both Submas brothers and he may ask casually if Ingo is okay while pretending he doesn't care. And trying not to associate Ingo with his best friend (an amnesiac twin who dies to his brother and gets super moody in his final days, moreso than usual). Anasui is fine dw about it

A traveler and researcher of something-or-other, Odile does tend to be rather standoffish with strangers, but she's quite fun once she warms up to you! She's the strategist of the group and used to having strong and varied Craft abilities, so she's very invested in researching and understanding Pokemon combat now!

PLANS:

Mostly catching up on stuff I didn't get through last month, tbh! I also got sucked into Pokemon ZA for a good chunk of last month lmao. This means I'll probably deal with her being in the clinic after being seriously hurt during her quest with Dolly, so she may be a little less likely to pick up new ones this month, but I'm still up for Furfrou's Quest - I think she'd sort of enjoy playing detective for a day.

I am down to handwave this or thread it but Siffrinx will be visiting Odile in the clinic... probably expressing concern with annoyingly sparkly comments about how she needs to be careful, she is elderly and frail... but also actually watching her worriedly when they think she isn't looking. They'll bring her things if she asks or if they see her obviously wanting something, please take advantage of this.

I think Odile miiiight also get the distinction of being the one person Siffrinx doesn't dare give a nickname. (Unless you want her to have one, then we can figure out making this happen,)
