ICly, Rankings will show the points earned of all Pokemon in guilds, including NPC Pokemon not listed here OOCly. We didn't list guild leaders this time, but might in the future for fun. Keep in mind that quests available to player characters are not the entire pool of quests, and that some are likely snatched up before they can get to them regularly, which is how points vary and how some guilds pull ahead even without much player help. As proof of solidarity with our allies, it is important to help defend the territories of the Forest from those who mean harm. In particular, Arctibax have been spotted harassing local Ghost Pokemon - remind them that they have their own place to call home!

MAYORAL VOTE RESULTS!

On a makeshift stage, as her last activity during this trip to Skull Town, Mightyena counts out the votes collected from all the poll boxes - gently discarding invalid votes to the side. (A Pelipper from the post office reviews that pile, making sure she didn’t make a mistake.)

The other end of the stage holds all five candidates - though Grimpig seems distracted, busily chattering away over telepathy. There’s an increasingly apprehensive silence from Umbreon in particular as the tally starts racking up more and more in his favor, and the pile of votes grows small… and then Malamar exclaims and points. There’s a Swalot near the pile with a suspiciously full-looking mouth!

Swalot is quickly bullied into using Spit Up, revealing a slimy bundle of additional votes. Mightyena dutifully calls these out as well, though she’s hiding a grimace at the clammy texture. By the time she reaches the bottom, though the vote is respectably close, there’s still a clear victor!

As promised, we’ve tallied the IC Vote on our new Mayor for (Death Blood Murder) Skull Town. With that in mind, we’d like to give a hearty congratulations to Cheri Berry Guild’s Lurantis!

Lurantis replaces Mightyena to make a very short, if still gracious, speech - though she’s outwardly calm, perhaps she doesn’t enjoy speaking to crowds? She thanks those who voted for her and promises again to focus first on preparing Skull Town for the encroaching winter, and on relations with the local Pokemon. Then she steps delicately down off the stage and into the crowd to make herself available to talk to.

As it turns out, she’s built up enough popularity that the crowd is packed tight! No Pokemon originating from other worlds will get a chance to speak with her directly before she eventually has to leave, but she’ll be available again in the near future. Just give her a couple of weeks to get settled into her new duties and organize the most urgent tasks and assignments!

INCOMING EVENTS

Winter appears to be arriving a little too quick for everyone’s liking this year, as once the middle of the month arrives so too will snow - and a lot of it! Get ready to see what Pokemon do during a Snow Day as we greet potential new players this month, as we begin to see snow forts, snow wars, and…snow beasts?

Hopefully whatever is coming isn’t any worse than Froslass.

Kris is the leader of a band of heroes destined to save the world! Alongside their friends they keep the balance of light and dark in check, closing off the Dark Fountains that have been appearing in their small hometown and befriending the Darkners that dwell within them. In their off-hours they're a normal human teenager dealing with normal teenager things like school, video games, being the only human in the entire town, the constant battle of wills between themselves and the supernatural entity living in their chest that dictates their every action and must remain oblivious to their true motives at all costs, and their parents' divorce. Wait what was that other one again

okay but really, Kris is kind of a freak for a dozen different reasons. They're a sarcastic antisocial brat of a teen, known for being a troublemaker whenever they do decide to interact with other people. They're also possessed by the most heinous type of supernatural force in the world: an extrovert. They are out there, talking up every single person they meet with a million different personal questions, hating every moment of it.

looks at all the drama andrea keeps gifting me with, Kris is doing Bad folks!!! They just had a bunch of CR blow up and then almost outed their whole possession deal on the pearlnet, so they're gonna be pretty withdrawn for the foreseeable future. Especially with the pearls! They're going to be avoiding any talk over the pearls (aside from people like Chara who already know about All That), so you can assume anyone who tries to reach out to Kris that way gets ghosted unless they're really persistent.

ANYWAY I am probably gonna focus on backtagging and building on their existing CR for this month, but they're still open to making new friends if you think they'd bounce well off eachother! Friends of Noelle who are willing to try and mediate them actually talking to eachother again would be nice, honestly, because they are not doing that shit on their own. I'm open to p much any quest if that helps facilitate threads at all. In particular, BONE APPÉTIT would be funny since they like to eat moss and random garbage off the ground and that's absolutely what they're going to insist on bringing. trust the process. They also have reason to go for IS ANYONE OUT THERE? since they ~~didn't get apped the same round I TDMed them~~ vanished for two months like a lot of other newbies have... Kris pushing the theory that every missing 'mon is actually Flowey's fault, actually. They also have a lot of fur they don't do a great job of taking care of so that could work for WOOLLY ACTIVITY. idk whatever works!! or not!!! just throw yourself at their inbox i believe in u all

Forgetful rouge that was on quest to save the world, got stuck in a timeloop in the final stretch, and... now he's here! Currently having mixed feelings over the whole Pokemon world thing, but Siffrin (the other one) is also here, so that's good(?). Trying to make the best of things, and also not think about what his friends back home are doing so he doesn't explode from anxiety! It's fine! He's good at ignoring problems!!!

ANYWAY Siffrin is ?????? going by their real (fake)(they don't even know the real one) name again and also sometimes still using Stardust, this will definitely not continue to be confusing for every single person here. They're not gonna change their behaviour too much, but they will be a lot more upfront about knowing the other Siffrin from back home... please don't ask too many questions about this. Clearly, Siffrin is just a very common name! Isn't it funny that they have the same name! Hahaha!!

I am also gonna be doing mostly backtags with Sif tho since wheezes, looks at all the threads i neglected, sorry October killed me I'm getting back to those first. I'll probably do a TL on the TDM/event log for him and pass on doing any TLs with Kris so there will be opportunities to thread with Nyafrin later!! Also open to picking up new quests with them if people rly do wanna, but again I'm gonna be focusing on their older stuff first otherwise I'll just be stuck in a loop (🥁) of making up for last month's neglected quests. thank u all for ur patience with me im doing my best

Probably taken as a given that either way Stardust is getting dragged to the Siffrin mid-tier housing. If Siffrinx is getting a roof then Nyafrin is also getting a roof, and additionally, the two of them will not comment on each other's "we need to drag the beds around to a new spot every few days" behaviors)
