ICly, Rankings will show the points earned of all Pokemon in guilds, including NPC Pokemon not listed here OOCly. We don't currently list guild leaders, but might in the future for fun. Keep in mind that quests available to player characters are not the entire pool of quests, and that some are likely snatched up before they can get to them regularly, which is how points vary and how some guilds pull ahead even without much player help. However, over time, player points will certainly affect the standing of guilds! Without further ado, here are the characters in ranking order by guild:

NOTES: This is a Secret Santa Form! Rather than a typical Heavy Quest, you may submit this form alone, in order to participate in this year’s IC Secret Santa event.

For your initial summary submission, please include what other characters would be able to glean - from observation or asking other characters - about your character’s IC likes, dislikes, preferences, and any other details. Submissions will close on the 10th of December, after which we will hand out everyone’s Secret Santa assignments!

As we approach the end of the year, the Lum Guild is seeking more records to add to our shelves from newer additions to the community. We invite all Pokemon with stories to share to the Archives, in order to record tales of their homeland within our halls.

The tunnels of the Spire are very expansive, and every year the Oran Guild has more and more to decorate for our longest night. I am requesting as many as possible to come and help us decorate our halls.

PS - There may be wet clay, but it should not harm anyone who steps in it.

We have done well to clean up from the recent storm, but there is still much work to be done. I need as many Pokemon as possible to clear and salt our snow covered roadways and bridges.

INCOMING EVENTS

Snow, music, and festivities - it seems that as the longest night approaches, a party is in the works! A Mysterious Pokemon will be making their appearance late in the month, bringing their own unique spin on old traditions. How will you share the spirit of the night? A good meal? A treasured gift?

Also, did anyone just see a red-tailed Treecko disappear into the bushes?

As an additional note, Player Suggestions are now being welcomed via our Helper Mod Contact Page - this has technically always been the case, but we wanted to make it clear as we prepare to enter our second year at Bottlecap Bay. While we cannot guarantee a suggested event will be included in our line-up, we welcome the many ideas our creative players have, and look forward to potentially incorporating these in future posts!

ABOUT:

Mayaka may look like a cute, smaller than average Sneasel but she has (1) claws laced with a poison she can’t control and (2) a mean temper and sharp tongue if you get on her bad side. While she’s quick to judge others and may come across as blunt, she’s the responsible sort and a team player. She also likes giving out nicknames (cute ones to friends, and teasing ones to those she finds odd).

Before all this, she quit her high school’s Manga Club to pursue being a manga artist seriously and was planning to submit her manga for a magazine award. She wants to continue drawing manga as a Sneasel, all while trying to keep it a secret from others, and grappling with the purpose of making art in this world. Hang in there, Mayaka!

PLANS:

- I have… only a vague idea of how quests work, so if anyone would like to pair up with this Sneasel for a quest that would be most appreciated! Ghosts of Teatimes Past / Snow Place Like Home / Happy Pawlidays all work.

- Lum Berry pals! If any Lum Berries want to give Mayaka a tour of her new accommodations (maybe they’re neighbours) or just get to know this new kid while on library duty etc, I would love that. Or a quest together.

- Network post! Later on I’ll probably set up a network post of Mayaka crowd sourcing ideas on how to deal with her poison claws so if you wanna say hi and estalish CR there, you’re most welcome... please come make friends/rivals/frenemies with her

excellent !! for player quests, maybe Holiday Hotpot? i feel like mayaka would prefer to spend her time in the library reading up stuff, but if Emporio invites her to help out with the hotpot... how could she refuse?

(also if we can have more than 2 characters for a quest i'm also happy if it includes Narciso or any others)

any other player quests she will probably agree to do if emporio is the one who asks her ... she wants to look out for him even though in reality it's him that has a better handle on stuff than her haha

So Akira here is in Lum too and may or may not have dedicated most of his life to helping out a weasel, so I imagine he has a soft spot for the Sneasel line if you want yet another potential guide! On top of that, he'd probably want to study the poison, too, if you're up for at least finding a use for the typing?

Well, with the network post up, his being a doctor shouldn't be too hard to piece together! Then it's just a matter of encountering him in person.

The good thing is his obsession with experimenting on people is usually just a looming threat as a running gag rather than any real chance of harm. Like he's happy to take samples of the toxins, but while he'll be pushy about it, he won't force it either. Can't guarantee the same safety for actual patients though

for the ghosts of teatimes quest summary, this is what i had in mind:

Mayaka could stumble across Akira's storytelling sessions and (depending on the subject matter) be so perplexed or confused by the story that she can't stop asking questions for him to elaborate on. gives the record keepers lots of good material to note down

alternatively, she's record keeper on duty who is noting down his story incredulously. while she keeps shooting him questions, she impartially writes it down for the records.

hi omega !! happy holidays ! was wondering if you'd be ok with me submitting the quest before the deadline, here's the write-up i have in mind (if u have inputs)

SUMMARY: While Akira regales his stories, Mayaka sits nearby and listens attentively, jumping it at several points to ask him to backpedal and explain with more detail until she is satisfied. This style of questioning borders on interrogation, but it gives the record keepers a very detailed set of stories to add to the archives.

that sounds sweet ! i think mayaka will probably need someone she's not afraid to hang out with / poison, and ume seems like a dependable guy. there are no dependable men in mayaka's life (her love interest put off answering her valentine's day confession for like 1 WHOLE YEAR 👎👎 but in the end she forgave and accepted his feelings so the clown nose belongs to her and yes theyre my otp *snatches clown nose from mayaka*)

Welcome to DWRP!! I am abysmally canonblind, but I think it would be so cute to get some CR with her and Laios here. He's actually a pretty good artist himself (well, when it comes to drawing monsters), but the lack of thumbs makes that hard around here, so he'd probably feel invested in getting her artistic pursuits going.
