New quests are released! Sign-ups will open officially on the 3rd of this month, so until then, here's a plotting post for you all to get your Duckletts in a row! Before we hop right into things, though, here are the tallies from total quest points!

ICly, Rankings will show the points earned of all Pokemon in guilds, including NPC Pokemon not listed here OOCly. We don't currently list guild leaders, but might in the future for fun. Keep in mind that quests available to player characters are not the entire pool of quests, and that some are likely snatched up before they can get to them regularly, which is how points vary and how some guilds pull ahead even without much player help. However, over time, player points will certainly affect the standing of guilds! Without further ado, here are the characters in ranking order by guild:

Congratulations to Ingo and Flowey, for achieving the next tier of accommodation! NOTES: This is a Secret Santa Form! Rather than a typical Heavy Quest, you may submit this form alone, in order to participate in this year’s IC Secret Santa event.

For your initial summary submission, please include what other characters would be able to glean - from observation or asking other characters - about your character’s IC likes, dislikes, preferences, and any other details. Submissions will close on the 10th of December, after which we will hand out everyone’s Secret Santa assignments!

As a final note, while there is no thread requirement for this quest, follow-up responses/gifts must be delivered by the 30th of December - anyone who fails to do so will not receive their points!

As we approach the end of the year, the Lum Guild is seeking more records to add to our shelves from newer additions to the community. We invite all Pokemon with stories to share to the Archives, in order to record tales of their homeland within our halls.

The tunnels of the Spire are very expansive, and every year the Oran Guild has more and more to decorate for our longest night. I am requesting as many as possible to come and help us decorate our halls.

We have done well to clean up from the recent storm, but there is still much work to be done. I need as many Pokemon as possible to clear and salt our snow covered roadways and bridges.

Snow, music, and festivities - it seems that as the longest night approaches, a party is in the works! A Mysterious Pokemon will be making their appearance late in the month, bringing their own unique spin on old traditions. How will you share the spirit of the night? A good meal? A treasured gift?

Also, did anyone just see a red-tailed Treecko disappear into the bushes?

As an additional note, Player Suggestions are now being welcomed via our Helper Mod Contact Page - this has technically always been the case, but we wanted to make it clear as we prepare to enter our second year at Bottlecap Bay. While we cannot guarantee a suggested event will be included in our line-up, we welcome the many ideas our creative players have, and look forward to potentially incorporating these in future posts!

They also said they were good with either, so I let myself be the final decider and I choice violence (shenanigans) So Ingo and Flamebringer will be going into this mostly blind.

But absolutely down for something else- I was thinking its possible Flamebringer and Anasui could corroborate their stories and experiences for Conspiracy Cracking- Since they both went on Dondozo together. Although that wasn't a very lore heavy quest... But maybe they both realized they were going to Akechi's thing and decided to talk shop about it?? Share encounters and experience... I think Flamebringer is comfy enough with him that he won't mind sharing about stuff that happened that wasn't deeply personal like quests and the general odd happenings.

We can do both a quest and a thread of some kind if you want to :> It has been a hot second since we've actually tagged these two together. It could be related to whatever quest we choose- or honestly be anything, I'm down. We could definitely still do some silly Christmas thread xD if you want to still poke at the possibility THAT disaster could bring.

Legit, Conspiracy Cracking may be a good idea. Anasui has a whole bunch of nonsense he's more than happy to share too. He's very much a person who has lots of information and has not put it all together quite yet.

I want to do quest and threaddd~ Both sound so fun! Did you want to write up the quest form or shall I?

(I had a random thought of them doing Conspiracy Cracking while Anasui was aggressively decorating for the holidays and I did giggle at it). It could be really cute the Christmas thread tho bc Anasui HAS taught Emporio how to Christmas and wouldn't be against teaching more people. You just have to deal with his OCD in return, Flamebringer XD

WHEEPS Flamebringer and him can make a conspiracy board to bring to the gathering, it'll make them both look exceedingly normal and not insane at all. Which is EXACTLY the kind of energy they should give off methinks. Even funnier to think, I don't think Akechi would be all that apposed to it. Flamebringer will GOBBLE UP all the info Anasui has to share. He's gotta make up for lost time.

HECK YEAH, if you don't mind doing the quest form I'll leave you to it! Let me know if you need any info outta me :)

(HELP. Hey that's honestly not far from what I was imagining in my head xD they show up to the meeting and Anasui is decked in Christmas wear, and he got Flamebringer to wear One Hat.) AWWWWWWW, he's really out here spreading the holiday cheer. Flamebringer is bah humbugging it so hard- he really needs someone to show him the way smh. WHEEPS oh no buddy what did you get yourself into.

For specifics on thread ideas- Maybe they run into each other and small talk leads to Flamebringer bringing up that he doesn't really have any idea whats going on, and it snowballs from there xD Its also possible that maybe he'll ask Anasui for advice on gift giving. I wanted to have Flamebringer get a present for Noelle- but then realized he actually knows so little about her personally, and also has no idea what "normal People" would find appealing. Back home at least a dagger would be an acceptable present in a world filled with danger and war :\

SUMMARY: While Anasui doesn't really know what's going on, he has been a part of a lot of weird shit (such as encountering the Heart of the Forest, the ruins under Icefall Lake, and the assorted ruins he found Emmet). He has a lot of information that he's willing to share.

Flamebringer is going to be listening to all Anasui has to say and try piece it together using... a conspiracy board! When done, the two will bring the conspiracy board itself to Akechi. It's pretty well connected, although instead of red string Anasui has insisted that Flamebringer use tinsel.

Honestly, based. Anasui also doesn't see what's wrong with a knife but he knows that's not socially acceptable. He'll definitely give normal advice, just in his usual weird way XD
