New quests are released! Sign-ups will open officially on the 3rd of this month, so until then, here's a plotting post for you all to get your Duckletts in a row! Before we hop right into things, though, here are the tallies from total quest points!

⟡ MEMBER RANKING
ICly, Rankings will show the points earned of all Pokemon in guilds, including NPC Pokemon not listed here OOCly. We didn't list guild leaders this time, but might in the future for fun. Keep in mind that quests available to player characters are not the entire pool of quests, and that some are likely snatched up before they can get to them regularly, which is how points vary and how some guilds pull ahead even without much player help. However, over time, player points will certainly affect the standing of guilds! Without further ado, here are the characters in ranking order by guild:

Raichu is in charge of fabrication for some Psychic-powered projects in progress. Details will be revealed after further testing - However, I need reliable Pokemon who can help sort through supplies, and dextrous ones who will be comfortable manufacturing fiddly details.

IMPORTANT UPDATES

After months of hints and teasing, the team is happy to announce that Evolution is finally available in game!

Evolution will be available as a small size reward, with a special additional requirement: rather than appearing in a dream as most rewards do, Evolution must be connected to a significant moment in game. Please read the updated Rewards page for more detail!

Please also note that in-character, Evolution will not begin occurring until the events of this month's TDM. However, you may submit for it starting today!

Related: as sharp-eyed players may or may not have already noticed, we've updated wording on the Rewards page in a few spots for clarity.

As players may similarly have noticed, after some discussion we've decided to unscreen acceptance comments so that people are able to read NPC interactions (without, for example, needing to have each other added on Plurk). Applications will always stay screened!

We hope everyone has fun coming up with opportunities for evolution, and continues to enjoy Bottlecap Bay!

At long last, the Starfall Festival has arrived! Pokemon settle in to watch meteors fall, and hang fortunes upon whatever they can tie things down on. But with new Pokemon arriving at the same time, things might be a little more hectic than anticipated…

Imagine someone took Disney's entire canon, put it in a blender, and then scattered it all over an original princess fairy tale setting, and you get the Sofia the First universe. Then imagine a scrawny royal sorcerer whom everyone thought was a screwup because of one childhood misunderstanding, so he tried to take over his boss' kingdom as a desperate attempt to prove his worth.

Now imagine that instead he was thwarted by the love of a seven-to-twelve-year-old child just because she was the only one with unwavering faith in his abilities and even called out those who doubted him. Sounds pathetic, right? Except it worked, and with newfound external confidence, he improved, to the point where he was the one who successfully conjured a spell to save that same child from eternal confinement in her own amulet, the same one he was initially pursuing for domination. All he lost in return was his longtime raven companion who now thinks he's a wuss.

PLANS:

So I got hit with food poisoning, my period, and a cold all in a row during the short month, so needless to say I have been slower than usual. To keep on top of things, I'm probably going to wrap all of my old threads save for the quests just so I can stop being behind and keep on top of newer stuff.

Cedric already has Inhibitions about the idea of evolving to Honchkrow, so whether or not he uses his Dusk Stone will entirely depend on how his self-confidence develops in-game! And yes, last month's heavy quest, plus those who entered his dream in January, are major influences of this, so I'm fully open to follow up on either with any relevant CR! Quest-wise, I'm flexible but especially interested in Bits and Bobs and Boulder-Wise (because yes, he continues to amass shiny things...).

ANYTHING ELSE:
He helped defeat a mega evolution last month! His "gasping randomly in caws" move was super effective!!

Ooh, yes! Nice tame mission for both of them after the terrible tinnitus that was last month XD

We might be able to just handwave it since it's just sorting, but I just like the light friendly relationship these two have developed so quickly ^^

Oh man though, if you like to thread, I'm definitely having a TL up for Dolly when the TDM comes up for the Starfall Festival. They both have a very sweet friendship going on X3c
