ICly, Rankings will show the points earned of all Pokemon in guilds, including NPC Pokemon not listed here OOCly. We didn't list guild leaders this time, but might in the future for fun. Keep in mind that quests available to player characters are not the entire pool of quests, and that some are likely snatched up before they can get to them regularly, which is how points vary and how some guilds pull ahead even without much player help. However, over time, player points will certainly affect the standing of guilds! Without further ado, here are the characters in ranking order by guild:

Now that we're keeping track of who's in the city, I've realized that I haven't seen Furfrou in a while... Does anyone know where they might have gone? It might take some investigating, but I'll give you a cool rock for it!

As winter fast approaches, it is vital we properly supply ourselves. Right now, we're in need of shed fur and wool to create blankets and garments. Accepting anyone and everyone who can help gather and transport some.

As proof of solidarity with our allies, it is important to help defend the territories of the Forest from those who mean harm. In particular, Arctibax have been spotted harassing local Ghost Pokemon - remind them that they have their own place to call home!

MAYORAL VOTE RESULTS!

On a makeshift stage, as her last activity during this trip to Skull Town, Mightyena counts out the votes collected from all the poll boxes - gently discarding invalid votes to the side. (A Pelipper from the post office reviews that pile, making sure she didn’t make a mistake.)

The other end of the stage holds all five candidates - though Grimpig seems distracted, busily chattering away over telepathy. There’s an increasingly apprehensive silence from Umbreon in particular as the tally starts racking up more and more in his favor, and the pile of votes grows small… and then Malamar exclaims and points. There’s a Swalot near the pile with a suspiciously full-looking mouth!

Swalot is quickly bullied into using Spit Up, revealing a slimy bundle of additional votes. Mightyena dutifully calls these out as well, though she’s hiding a grimace at the clammy texture. By the time she reaches the bottom, though the vote is respectably close, there’s still a clear victor!

As promised, we’ve tallied the IC Vote on our new Mayor for (Death Blood Murder) Skull Town. With that in mind, we’d like to give a hearty congratulations to Cheri Berry Guild’s Lurantis!

Lurantis replaces Mightyena to make a very short, if still gracious, speech - though she’s outwardly calm, perhaps she doesn’t enjoy speaking to crowds? She thanks those who voted for her and promises again to focus first on preparing Skull Town for the encroaching winter, and on relations with the local Pokemon. Then she steps delicately down off the stage and into the crowd to make herself available to talk to.

As it turns out, she’s built up enough popularity that the crowd is packed tight! No Pokemon originating from other worlds will get a chance to speak with her directly before she eventually has to leave, but she’ll be available again in the near future. Just give her a couple of weeks to get settled into her new duties and organize the most urgent tasks and assignments!


INCOMING EVENTS

Winter appears to be arriving a little too quick for everyone’s liking this year, as once the middle of the month arrives so too will snow - and a lot of it! Get ready to see what Pokemon do during a Snow Day as we greet potential new players this month, as we begin to see snow forts, snow wars, and…snow beasts?

Hopefully whatever is coming isn’t any worse than Froslass.

ABOUT:

Formerly the notorious Big Bad Wolf of fairytale fame, Bigby is now the exhausted sheriff of Fabletown in New York City circa the 1980s. Despite wanting to move on from his brutal past, his fellow Fables aren’t so easily convinced that he’s around to serve their best interests even after centuries on the job already. There’s a part of him that doesn’t think he deserves their forgiveness either, that he’s just suppressing the monster he really is, but he’s desperate to keep trying to protect those who need him.

He often skirts the line between sympathetic and ruthless depending on the situation, but in general, he’s mostly just rough around the edges and maybe a little sarcastic on his best days. Bigby can be pretty quick on picking things up, too, but his short temper can easily lead him astray when pushed enough. The man is perpetually on the verge of another crash out, please do not remind him (or do, so he can let out some pent up frustration)!!

PLANS:

Despite the absolute stress of Noelle going missing and him turning into a ghost, October turned into a relatively good month? He’s letting down some walls down, making more than one friend all by himself, learning how to cook and sew… He even kind of resolved that beef with Fireheart. This is all absolutely huge for a guy who did nothing but work for a town that hates him. Self-actualization: it can happen to anyone!

Currently, he’s in food hoarding and storing mode around the Spire, but please don’t mention it (but also do). It’s early November, but he’s already putting that scarf he got to good use. He misses his winter coat... Anyway! Quests! Open to all of them, but Furfrou’s Sake and Bax to Arctibax seem fun. He is still absolutely salty about Ghost-types, but now he can relate to them or whatever.

All the player quests are good too, but Don’t Get Snowdin especially because Bigby will not be happy going all the way up the Canopy for the first time! As always, I’m okay to handwave any with the TDM coming up!

Can these two do something more normal than the Yakuza side quest they did last month. Metal pipe sfx notwithstanding those will definitely still happen.

But okay okay back to the main story! Even if the thought of these two perpetually going on Yakuza-style hijinks out of nowhere is too funny. How about sending them on either Furfrou’s Sake orrr possibly even Snowdin (Again)? The latter one I can just imagine her saying it's just some construction job only for him to show up to find out it's at the Canopy (one fear).

And honestly Snowdin sounds exactly like the place to have said hijinks happen oh no poor Bigby XD

Hijinks are inevitable when you pair up a man wolf from the 80s with a space mechanic from a galaxy far, far away.....

Let's go for Snowdin then!! Let me know if you have any thoughts for a summary or if you want to draft it. All I know is: Bigby will be (1) mortified the whole time trying not to look down (he's just nervous definitely not scared) and (2) not the best at constructing but he picked up some skills from building furniture before (so proud of him).

Honestly I think Parvati would be pretty comfortable with letting Bigby take his time with the whole freaking out thing, she totally gets it and would absolutely be sympathetic to the poor fella. And when he's not freaking out she can yap to him about all of her important fixing things jobs.

This time, she’s bringing along Bigby to help. He might be better known for property destruction, but he built some furniture that one time, so it’s fine. Unfortunately, she neglected to tell him this project is at <i>the Canopy</i>. Who knew the Big Bad Wolf <s>is afraid of</s> gets nervous with heights? Parvati will probably be doing most of the heavy lifting and delegating, with Bigby hyper focusing on just not looking down. Luckily, this is a perfect time for her to yap at him to keep him distracted. If Flowey decides to check in on their progress, he’ll likely notice how anxious Bigby seems to be the entire time they’re up there. He can in fact use this for blackmail later.</text>

I would love to do this as a cute handwave CR if you'd like for Bigby and Dolly, especially with Dolly teaching Bigby how to sew: They make these super cute sugar mice plushies for holiday gift giving as well as an easy introduction to sewing for Bigby to try out.

AH thank you!! I've been meaning to follow up!! As for details....

Bigby will be coming into this quest especially grumpy and ready for a fight, so he'll be in absolutely no mood for Impmon's usual shenanigans. Wouldn't be surprising if they're arguing as much as they're actually fighting off the Arctibax. At least that might givee him the opportunity to learn Outrage, because of course he needs more moves that'll mess with him too.

Other than that, I don't thiiink he has any super effective weaknesses, but his Electric moves are definitely going to be no help (not that he studies his type chart as much as he should).

Also I have another quest thread planned, so maybe I can get a catch-all started, and we can toss it in there? Happy to do the starter since you're doing the summary!! C:
